We got together every few months for at least the past 10 years, after he moved back into the area. He was a generous and most interesting guy. He never ran out of stories, not just about the John W. Brown and trolleys, but also about family history (he and I were double second cousins), We had very similar theological journeys. We never ran out of conversation, and it was a blessing to have had these opportunities to sit down with Bob and chat for hours. I miss him. I send prayers and condolences to Mary, Gillian, Trisha, Peggy, Ken, Miriam, Eamonn, and Beckett. The world has lost a fine man.
