I’ve known you since your girls were babies. I’ve admired your kindness, beauty from the first time I came to your home in Glenolden.
You turned me onto pop tarts with butter. Lol. Never again did a plain pop tart cross my lips.
I’m grateful for you taking care of my dad when he needed a friend.
Dance a dance with my dad, for me. Tell him I Love him.

Aunt Peggy was my mom's (Karen Moody) best friend and my Godmother. She is one of the women who built me. She was kind, talented, funny, creative, crafty, had an amazing sense of humor. Like my mom she had an amazing laugh that I can still hear in my head. She and my mom laughed and goofed off a lot when they were together. As a little girl I would go to her house and look at all of her "knick knacks" as she called them and the lovely things she made by hand. Years ago, I told her one of my best memories was a candle she made my mom, a wheel of swiss cheese that was decorated with ceramic mice. It sat as a decoration on our kitchen table for years. I used to play with the mice while I ate snacks and cereal. Not long after, she gave me the one she had and my kids loved it too. I swam in her pool and caught fireflies in her yard while my parents barbecued and did adult things. She usually had some swwet treat baked for us. She and Uncle Bill (and Colleen and Shelley) are in many many many of my core memories. She was a light in my world...my fairy Godmother in real life. Knowing that she is resting in the love of the God she encouraged me to know is a little comfort. I will always love and remember you. Until we meet again in heaven, Godspeed Aunt Peggy

Your Mom was much loved, as you know. Just a little aside, Peggy and I both worked at Sun Oil Company when we got out of high school. And we were both in the same department. When she was an “extra” on Route 66, someone in the company snitched and told her bosses that she hookeyed so she could do the extra bit. They asked her about it. She admitted it. I think she might have been docked some pay, I’m not sure. But, if she hadn’t admitted it, don’t know what the consequence could have been. Your Mom was such a good person. And sometimes she didn’t have a great role model when she grew up. Well, I knew her days were shortening up, but it's still a blow. She is and was a brave lady. And a lady in the finest sense. I was so glad that she and your dad stopped by to see us the day after David's Retirement Party at Kim's house. Love her, Aunt Karen

Peggy
You will be loved and remember by our family for being such a beautiful and kind person. Mom always talked about how good you were to her and you always remembered her and sent her a holiday card.
You have left a beautiful family to remember you in their hearts and prayers. Your children, grandchildren and Bill will hear your voice in their songs.
May you be blessed in your next journey and with all your loved ones and creatures in your new home! ❤️
Love Linda
