Obituary of Carl E. Hildenbrand

Carl E. Hildenbrand, age 76 of Collingdale passed away on February 19, 2023 at home surrounded by his family and friends.

Carl was born and raised in Lansdowne, PA where he attended St. Cyril's and graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1965. After high school, Carl was knighted 4th degree by Knights of Columbus. He dedicated 53 years of his life as a Volunteer Fireman, was on the Ambulance Board of Governors and spent 30 years as Treasurer of Collingdale Fire Company, Number 1. Carl worked for Boeing as a Tool and Die Maker for 43 years until his retirement in July, 2015.

He is predeceased by parents Carl and Catherine Hildenbrand and his sister Carol VanAuken.

Survivors: Loving husband of Elaine E. Hildenbrand, loving father of Carl Hildenbrand, Debbie (George) Henning and Bethann (Tom) Weaver, grandfather of Andrew and Gianna Henning, Haylie, Kylie, Tommy and Juliana Weaver, brother of Kathleen Johnston, Eric (Wilma) Hildenbrand, James (Terry) Hildenbrand, sister in law of Mary Hildenbrand and many family and family.

Funeral Mass: Friday,10:30am at St Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave, Collingdale, PA. 19023

Viewing: Thursday, February 23, 2023, 7-9pm at McCausland Garrity Marchesani, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 and Friday, February 24, from 9:30-10:30am at St Joseph Church, in Collingdale, PA.

Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
