We knew Carl and his family when we all lived in Collingdale. Their oldest daughter Debbie went to grade school with our daughter Samantha. Carl was such a nice man and friend. The whole family were good people. Sorry we couldn’t attend the viewing and our prayers are with the whole family. May he Rest In Peace.
Love Sal & Linda Mattoccia

I first met Carl about 25 years ago. I will never forget his big smile and friendly hugs. His love for his family and friends was unconditional and in return he was was loved back from so many! Over the years I got to celebrate holidays, weddings, and birthdays with him and the rest of the family and I am so eternally grateful for that. I ask for blessings on the entire family. For Jesus to surround them in his healing, comforting arms to bring them peace, comfort, and joy. Love you all! -The Hahn Family

Elaine, Carl Jr., Debbie and Bethann...your father was a good man. I will always remember him smiling and enjoying life to the fullest. And of course, my very first memory...was Elaine and Carl's wedding! Such a handsome groom! He will be missed. But I know, he will always watch over you! My heart hurts...
Hugs and love,
Sheila

I will miss you more than I can even begin to express. You were the first of the Hildenbrands that made me feel completely welcome when I first started dating Jimmy, with your big hugs and acceptance without judgment. Everyone followed your lead, but you were the one that instantly made me feel welcome and comfortable enough to stick around. I’m still here 33 years later…. From our Atlantic City weekends, our nights at the campfire, our dinners at the campground, and seeing you tool around on your bright red golf cart, it will just never be the same without you. But I know you will be looking down on all of us and will be our shining angel….
Love,
Terry Loscalzo Hildenbrand

I had the pleasure of knowing Carl during my time during the 80’s at Collingdale Fire house. He was a good friend and a avid supporter of the fire Company. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. Rest in Peace Carl. You will always be remembered for your dedication to the local community.
