Obituary of Daniel Patrick McNamee

Daniel Patrick McNamee, 34, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away unexpectedly on January 12th , 2020. Daniel was born on December 19th, 1985 to Thomas McNamee and Doreen Paolella in Philadelphia, PA. Throughout his life Danny performed various trades until he found his passion as a carpenter. Danny enjoyed going to the movies, whether with others or on his own, playing video games and had a passion for classic cars. Although his time with us was short, he was still able to leave a lasting impression on everyone’s lives. Some people knew Danny as a loving and thoughtful son, some knew him as a supportive and generous brother, a playful and caring uncle and some knew him as a best friend. When Danny entered the room, it would brighten with his big smile and his dazzling personality, he was unforgettable whether at work or at play. Danny had tremendous sense of humor that could bring a smile to everyone. Danny was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked, he always had time for others. Danny considered his son Dante his greatest accomplishment. Everyone that knew Danny knew him to be an amazing and loving father. Danny and Dante enjoyed many adventures together whether it was in the backyard, at the park, on the beach, at the Zoo or just spending time at home with each other. Danny is survived by his son Dante McNamee; his parents Thomas and Doreen; his brothers Lorenzo Paolella (Jennifer), Matthew McNamee, and Michael & Thomas McNamee; his sisters Jessica Boch (David), Jenny Di Federico (Mark), and Kristine McNamee Tighe (James), and many nieces and nephews, Lilliana, Gabrielle, Anabelle, Salvatore (Sonny)(Paolella), Brandyn(Boch), and Nichole (Roken), Kyle and Kevin (Stevenson); and predeceased by his nephew George Kaminski. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Monday, January 20th, at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home,343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036. Viewing: 9-11AM on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial: St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown PA
