"Brilliance, creativity, and kindness" - those words in Sue's obituary are exactly the ones I would use to describe my dear college roommate with whom I shared many adventures and late-night discussions and "activities for the improvement of our minds and hearts"! Although our lives led us on different paths, we maintained a close connection through letters. Many years have passed since I last saw Sue, but I can see from her photo that she kept her dimples, and beautiful blue eyes, and precious smile. I can so clearly remember her joyous laugh and her spirit of adventure. I loved her dearly, and it is hard to think of this world without her in it. I send my deepest sympathies to Max, who I came to know through Sue's letters, and to her family. I know how empty life will be without Sue. Diane Abell
