Obituary of Joseph J. Ryan

Joseph J. Ryan, "Uncle Joe", "Poppie", age 81 of Clifton Heights formerly of Darby, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2019. Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in Alaska. He later retired from Piasecki Aircraft where he worked as a Security Officer and was a life member of Darby Fire Patrol #2. He is predeceased by his parents Martin and Anna Ryan, sisters Rita and Anna Marie Ryan, and son Martin Joseph Ryan. Survivors: Loving uncle and father-figure of Jo-Ann (Tom) Ramos, great uncle and honorary grandfather of Anthony (Rosie) Ryan, Shawn (Kate Boyd) Ryan, Thomas Ramos II, great niece Annemarie and great nephews Tyler and Ryan. Funeral Mass: 10AM on Friday, September 20 at Saint Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 41 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050 Visitation: 9-10AM on Friday at the church.
