Milton A. "Butch" Cointot, age 73 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully after a 4 year battle with cancer. Butch was a retired carpenter of scaffolding, Local 158, formerly Philadelphia Local 8, and later director of maintenance at St. Madeline's Parish and School in Ridley Park, PA. He was a former Army Reservist for 6 years and member of F&A Masons Lodge 72 of Philadelphia. Butch was the devoted husband for over 50 years to Dianne (nee Krtanjek) Cointot, loving father of Scott (Lynn) Cointot, Karen Cointot, Elizabeth (Gary) Croulet, and Keith (Allison) Cointot, beloved grandfather of Moira and Ryan Croulet, Ashleighe Guinard, and Jackson and Chase Cointot, cherished son of the late William and Ida (nee Dexheimer) Cointot, as well as lifelong extended family members especially William (Inge) Osterhoudt. Memorial Service will be held at 12pm on Friday, July 19th at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
