Very few people I’ve met in my career have demanded my respect the way big bill did . Respect isn’t a word i throw around a lot to describe people but when it comes to Murph it’s the first word that comes to mind . He believed and stood by his convictions , he was always honest , always a “ straight shooter “ , always a teacher , always a friend . I remember a Friday where big bill got a text from little bill that my tire at our yard was flat . Big bill skipped break to take me to a tire shop and helped me get it on so I wasn’t stuck on a Friday ( he also tried to buy me the tire , I wouldn’t let him his help was more than enough ). I remember a day he was ready to quit because he thought I was getting ragged on over a bad asphalt joint that he knew wasn’t my fault . He stood by his friends to the end , he handled all his business like a man , like a true role model . He was a great guy that made an impact on my life . I appreciate everything big bill did for me and taught me . I wish I told him how much I respected him or highly I thought of him , I hope he knew it . He will always be missed and loved and will live on in every story we tell . Rest In Peace Murph
