Diana... I have wonderful memories of your mom and dad. Every Easter, when I was little, they would take me out and buy me a pretty dress and purse. All these years later and I still recall that with so much fondness.

My deepest condolences Diana!
Although it’s been many years since seeing your mom, I have very fond memories growing up of her and your dad. They were both great to our family and would visit during the holidays and of course the pool parties when we were kids.
My mom always spoke warmly of her brother John and sister-in-law Joan. Mom loved singing with your dad and having you all over for her fried chicken.
I miss those times, but will carry those memories which had an influence on my life with me forever.
I wish you and your family love and peace and pray that the family is a little closer now with your mom joining those in heaven.

My cousin Joanie was a large and valued part of my childhood. Her happy and sunny disposition always meant the world to me. She was 3 years older so she was like a big sister to me.
We called each other "Kitchen Cousins" because we liked to cook together.
When I was 14, My aunt died. She was Joanie's aunt too, but I was especially close to Aunt Jo. Our families lived together for most of my childhood. She passed at the age of 47 and it was devastating blow to my immediate family, I was "lost".
Because there was so many arrangements to make for her wake and funeral, I was sent over to stay with Joanie. She was an absolute rock to me. She listened to my grief and she cheered me up when she could with her sparkling personality!
Rest in peace, dear Joanie. I know life wasn't always easy; may peace be with you now.
