Obituary of Mary E. Owens

Mary E. Owens, age 94, of Norwood, died January 30, 2010 at St. Francis Country House in Darby, PA. Ms. Owens was born May 28, 1915 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the daughter of the late Raymond R. and the late Mary (Holmes) Owens. Ms. Owens was a longtime resident of Norwood. She graduated Ridley Park High School, Class of 1932. Ms. Owens worked as a Cost Analysis Supervisor for Ford Motor Company in Chester, retiring in 1980 from the Ford plant in Mahwah, NJ. She formerly played the piano and organ for Holmes Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her sister Eleanor Hinerman, Her nephew John Hinerman and 2 cousins Norman and Stanley Owens Service and Burial are private.
