Obituary of Elmer R. Sealy

Elmer R. "Jim" Sealy passed into God's arms on January 8, 2019. He was born in Edgewood, MD in 1929 and resided in Secane, Ridley Township. Jim was a U.S Navy Korean War veteran and retiree of Boeing after 36 years in the facility department was also a member of Amvets post #118, American Legion Post #0777, and a member of Concordia Lodge No. 67 F & AM.
Survivors: Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, survived by wife of 66 years, Lois M. Sealy. He was a loving father of children Mary Elizabeth Fritz (Jack), Gerard R. Sealy (Julie), and Judith-Marie Huggins (Dave). Also, a cherished Pop-Pop of granddaughters Sara and Alyssa Meehan. Dearest brother of Vera Keithley (the late John Robert) of Aberdeen, MD. Also surviving is treasured brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and friends, Winfield "Sonny" and Laverne Ziegenfuss and their family. Jim loved and enjoyed the companionship of his dogs and cats over the years, especially his surviving fur-babies, Josie and Curly, who brought much joy, laughter, and comfort.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA 19036.
Burial: St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warriors Project; PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675 would be appreciated.
