Dorothy R. Douthart age 91 of Folcroft passed away on April 23, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, she was a longtime resident of Folcroft. Mrs. Douthart worked as a Lead Inspector for the Franklin Mint retiring in 1985. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Prospect Park Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 415, a member of the General Federation of Women's Club, Folcroft Ladies Auxiliary and the Leisure Hours Club of Sharon Hill. She was a devoted, longtime member of Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and Deacon. An avid reader, she enjoyed shopping, trips to the casinos, dancing and the Philadelphia Phillies, Sixers, Eagles and Flyers where she was a member of the Flyers "Unducked Puck" Club. She also enjoyed laughing and spending time with her family; she was wildly generous and caring to all around her. Predeceased by her Beloved Husband Duane Douthart, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors: Loving mother of Robert (Denise) Douthart, Beverly (Kenneth) Knight and Susan Douthart. Cherished grandmother of Natalie (Michael) Keefer, Jeannine Knight, Cheryl (Eric) Fendt, Joshua Knight, Robert Jr., Dennis and Morgan Douthart and 5 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Service: Thursday, 10AM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA 19036.
