Obituary of Stephen G. Coleman

Stephen G. Coleman "Mooney" age 59 of Broomall formerly of Belmont Hills passed away on Dec 2, 2018 at home. Steve retired from Penndot where he worked for 35 years. Prior to retirement, he served as president of the AFSME Council #13. After retirement he worked for many years at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home. He was a member, bartender and hall coordinator at Palombaro Club in Ardmore and a member of the Cheese Club in Havertown. An Avid Shuffle Board player, he enjoyed the Philadelphia Flyers, the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his friends at the Ivy Inn. He is predeceased by his parents Howard and Anna Coleman, his sister Mary Anne McGrath and his father in law Roland Massimino. Survivors: Beloved husband of Michele Coleman, devoted father of Stephen C. (Kelsey Greenfell) Coleman, dear bother of Bill (Dorothy) Coleman, loving uncle of Billy and Bobby Coleman and his four legged friend Precious the dog. Also survived by his mother in law, Mary Jane Massimino, 3 brothers in law, 1 sister in law and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: 1pm Friday at St Pius Church, 220 Lawrence Rd.
