Obituary of Maurice Babcock

Maurice E. "Mo" Babcock age 63 passed away on March 17, 2011 at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, PA. A Resident of Aldan, PA for the last 11 years, Mr. Babcock was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO. He retired from US Airways in 2003 after 17 years in customer service. Prior to US Airways, Mr. Babcock worked in Lagos, Nigeria as the project manager for the United Nations Development Program for 10 years and also in Saudi Arabia as an air traffic controller for the I.C.A.O., which is similar to the F.A.A. outside the United States, where he held the second license that was issued by the I.C.A.O. examiners. He was a Navel Veteran and served as a diver for four years and also an Air Force veteran and served as an air traffic controller for 5 years. He is predeceased by his parents Uvee and Laura V. Schonga Babcock. Survivors: Dear friends Mr. Lem D. Donoho of Aldan and Patricia Persinger of Grandview, MO; also 3 brother Allie and Bud Babcock of St. Joseph, MO and Wayne Babcock of Las Vegas, NV.
