Obituary of Edward J. Davis

Edward J. Davis "Jeff" age 87 a longtime resident of Sharon Hill passed away on March 12, 2011 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward and Una Davis. He was raised in Collingdale and Sharon Hill and graduated of Sharon Hill High School class of 1943. Mr. Davis served in the United State Navy during World War II. He retired in 1986 from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. A member of Norwood VFW Post 7213 and a parishioner of Holy Spirit Church in Sharon Hill. He was an avid reader and enjoyed taking walks with his animals in Sharon Hill. Predeceased by his wife Frances Davis, sister Mary Davis and daughter in law Linda Davis. Survivors: Sons, Edward (Linda) Davis of Media and Denis Davis of Rutledge. Daughter Frances Davis of Perkasie, PA. Grandfather of Suzanne, Jennifer and Carolyn. Great Grandfather of Brittany, Marissa and Gabriella. Brother of Kathryn Kelly of Folcroft.
