I knew richard since i was 3 years old. I am now 31. He was the most careing friendly man i have ever met. He was family. My hole family loved him dearly. We had so many great memories. He loved going to my aunts beach house. We would fish and crab. I also loved hearing all his war stories. He could turn any situation into a good one. He would just walk up to anyone and start talking to them. And he would not take no crap from no one. One time he chased and flagged a cop down cause the cop was speeding. I lost touch with him cause i went away for a while. I tried to fine him once i came home. I wanted to take him home with me and let him live the rest of his life peaceful. I loved that man like a father. Well he practically was. May u rest in peace richard. Untill we meet again. Please watch over me.
