Obituary of Albert J. Becker

Albert J. Becker, Jr. "Al" age 92 of East Lansdowne passed away on Feb. 4, 2011. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. Becker was a U.S. Air Force Veteran stationed in China Burma India Theater, serving in WWII and a member of American Legion, Richard L. Carmichael Post #578. He retired from Travel Anywhere and previously work for many years in the airline and travel industry.
An avid Phillies Fun, he enjoyed spending time with his family and taking family trip to the NJ Shore. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and known as Poppy to all.
Predeceased by his parents Albert J. Becker, Sr. and Kathleen Sullivan,Sister Kathleen Stumm and Brother Eugene Becker
Survivors:
Wife of 64 years Kathryn T. (nee Falls) Becker
Daughters: Kathryn (the late Bud) McLaney and Bernadette (Mike) Hennessy.
Sons: Albert (Beth) Becker III, Thomas (Helen) Becker and Richard (Ramona) Becker.
Grandchildren: Colleen (Bill) Maloney, Buddy McLaney,
Michael (Helene), Megan and Joe (Amy) Hennessy, Jessica, Tim Aimee, Lindsay, Richie and Kirsten Becker. Great Grandfather of 6.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: Sat. at 12, noon at St Cyril's of Alexandria Church, 153 Penn Blvd. Lansdowne, PA. 19050.
