Obituary of Ellen B. Merget

Ellen B. Merget, age 83 and a long time resident of Glenolden, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. Ellen was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School, Class of 1953. She worked as a Parts Control Area Clerk for Boeing for 15 years before retiring. She was an active member of Folcroft Union Church, and enjoyed traveling, reading, and her family. She is predeceased by her mother Florence Riddle (nee Morris), and former husband Robert M. Merget, Sr. Survivors: Loving mother of Sharon A. (Tom) Lancaster, Robert M. Merget, Ronald R. Merget, and Bonnie L. (Dan) Impriano. Cherished sister of Linda M. Allen and Barbara R. (Art) Hunter. Adored grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 9 and 2 on the way, 2 nephews, and many friends. Funeral Service: 12pm on Thursday at Folcroft Union Church, 500 Primos Ave., Folcroft, PA 19032.
