Obituary of John F. Rafa

John F. Rafa age 68 a longtime resident of Collingdale passed away on January 17, 2011. Born in Chester Pa, he graduated in 1960 from St. James High School. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War he was stationed in Ft Leonardwood, Missouri as a Military Police Officer. John work for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. and Securitas Security Service at the Philadelphia Navel Business Center. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for over 30 years where he was an usher and a member of Knights of Columbus, St Joseph's 8924 and a lifetime member of St. James Alumni Assoc. John was the former turn key for Collingdale Police Dept. and served as a crossing guard in Collingdale.
