Obituary of Beatrice Alma Baker

Beatrice "Bea" Baker, age 100, Collingdale passed away on June 27, 2017. Born in Darby, PA, she resided in Collingdale before moving to West Grove with her daughter. Beatrice was a former member of the Collingdale Senior Citizens and Collingdale Library. She spent her life as a homemaker and enjoyed her family. Bea's 100th birthday was celebrated at Harrison Sr. Living in Christiana, PA. A good time was had by all. Bea will be surely missed and was loved much. She is predeceased by her husband Harry F. Baker of 62 years, son Major Ronald Boysen Baker in 1970 in Vietnam, and daughter in law Marcella Williams Baker. Survivors: Loving mother of Florence Hobdell, cherished grandmother of Stephen Baker, David (Carolyn) Baker, Beth Ann Warford, Susan Crutchfield, Carrie (Greg) Neely, and Lindsay (Mike) Green, beloved great grandmother of 7 and great great grandmother of 12.
