Obituary of Gregory C. Kempton

Gregory C. Kempton "Buzz" age 78 of Huntington Beach Ca. formerly of Havertown passed away on March 11, 2017. Born in West Philadelphia, Greg was a graduate of St Thomas Moore High School and Villanova University. He was an active parishioner at SS Simon and Jude Church in Huntington Beach Ca where he volunteered much of his time. He enjoyed golfing and traveling. He is predeceased by his wife Veronica Kempton and his parents Gregory and Marie Kempton. Survivors: Beloved husband of Rita Kempton, loving father of Christine(Joseph)Munro, Gregory Kempton, Nicole Kempton, cherished grandfather of Shane, Kyle and Kellie, dear brother of Charles (Susan) Kempton and Barbara ( Tom) Piper and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: 11am, Thurs. March 23 at St Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave. Collingdale, PA. 19023. Visitation: 10-11am in the church Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
