Joseph J. Goetz Sr. "Joe" age 56 of Upper Darby passed away on February 8, 2017 surrounded by his family. Joe worked as a truck driver for XTL and formerly for UPS. He was an avid sports fan and was known for his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He had many friends and was adored by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his parents Russell and Geraldine Goetz.
Survivors: Loving father of Melissa, Joseph Jr.( Jeannie), Shawn( Ettajae) and Christopher and their mother Patricia Lahey-Prestipino, cherished Poppop of Nicholas, Brendan, Ryan, Alex, Noah, Nathanial, Jakoda and Makayleigh, dear brother of Russell, Geraldine, Barbara, Mary, James Denise and Stephen.
Memorial Service: 11am, Monday February 27, at St Pius Church, 220 S. Lawrence Rd. Broomall, PA. 19008
Visitation: 10-11am Monday in the church
Burial: Private
In lieu of flowers contributions to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd. Media, PA. 19064 would be appreciated.
