Obituary of Deborah L. Brooks

Deborah Lynn Brooks, "Debbie", 51 of Norwood passed away Jan. 13th at Crozer Chester Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends who loved and cherished her. Born and raised in Memphis, Tenn. June 30th, 1965, to Mary and Howard Lee Brooks, she is survived by her beloved daughter Britney Michelle and 2 siblings, Elizabeth and Sidney. She worked at Pilot Freight Services for many years where she gained life long friendships. She was a beautiful soul who inspired people with courage, strong determination and a contagious smile. She was an avid gardener and baker who loved creating sweets and cakes for other's enjoyment. Relatives and friends are invited to Christ United Methadist Church, 600 Dutton Mill Rd, Brookhaven, for her Memorial Service Saturday Jan 21st, 3pm and to stay afterwards to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be sent in Debs name to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St. Phila, PA 19103.
