My Memory of Mrs. Horne will never be forgotten.. I grew up with her daughter Debbie and Mrs. Horne treated me as if I were her own daughter ., I have such wonderful memories of her ., What a loving mother , good wife , and after Mr. Horne passed away , raised 4 children all on her own. In all my years with her , I never heard that woman complain., She was a treasure and life saver for me , because I had no mother or father ., and they both took me in as if I were family , and shared their beautiful & large family with me .,
I am so sorry Mrs. Horne , that I never got to see you in these final years., I just happened to be searching on the internet , and was saddened to see your name come up ., I spoke with you a few years ago , and I promised to come and see you , I sorry ~ I did not make it in time .,
I just wanted to tell you , that you meant everything to me growing up during my 18 years … You were kind and gentle , ( and make me laugh) when you called her "fresh old Debbie!!! ha..
when my father passed away , you took me in to your house and gave me comfort .. and love ., You and Mr. Horne., and I loved your mother ., What a kind woman .,
I shall never forget you , you were a big part in my life , your family , your kids and 'fresh old Debbie" . I still laugh to this day as I can still hear your voice.
I will miss you , dearly , but someday , we shall meet again .. God Bless you , you and your family were so special to me .. Love Lenore
