Obituary of Doris D. Hess

Doris D. Hess (nee Devenny) age 85 of Aldan passed away on Nov. 4, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, She was a longtime resident of Aldan for over 50 years. Doris was a graduate of Glen Nor High School and Pierce Junior College. She retired from Bambergers in Springfield and previously from Manufactures Life Insurance Company in Philadelphia. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden. A devoted mother and nana, she enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Daughter of the late David and Anna Devenny. Survivors: Loving mother of Linda (Bill) MacCain of Media and Paul (Bernice) Hess of New London, PA. Cherished Nana of Kristen and Chelsea MacCain and Danielle, David and Matthew Hess. Loving Sister of Mary Jane Bender of Pittsburgh Memorial Service: Mon. Nov 8, at 11AM at First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden, corner of Ashland Ave. and Chester Pike.
