Obituary of Ellen A. McGrath

Ellen A. McGrath (nee Miles) age 77 of Philadelphia, formerly of Ridley Park and Norwood, passed away on October 13, 2016. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Miles. Ellen retired from the Interboro School District and previously worked for United Expedition as a seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing at the family house in Wildwood and sharing her wonderful past memories of being on the family farm house in New Jersey. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas R. McGrath Sr., and her sisters Mary Convery, Rita Wood and Margaret Callinan. Survivors: loving mother of Tom( Maria) McGrath, Michael ( Diane) McGrath and Kathleen (Shawn) Bittenbender, cherished grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 1and dear sister of James Miles.
