Obituary of Eleanor Gilda Jordan

Eleanor G. Jordan (nee Miami) age 94 of Glenolden passed away on Sept 9, 2016 at St. Luke Village in Hazleton, PA. Born Philadelphia, Eleanor recently resided at the Laurels Senior Living in Hazleton. She graduated from South Philadelphia High School for Girls. After her husband's passing in 1972, Eleanor worked at Scott Paper Company in the payroll department for 20 years. She was a devoted volunteer for Taylor Hospital and the blood mobiles for the American Red Cross. She is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Jordan Jr., sons Edward Jordan III and Dennis R. Jordan, sister Anne Cappiello and brother Anthony Miami. Survivors: Loving mother of Marie (James) Malkin, cherished grandmother of Jarret (Jodie) and great grandmother of Alyson. Funeral Mass: 11am Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Dr, Secane, PA. 19018. Visitation: 10-11am in the church Burial: SS.
