I am Dave's niece, Angie. Although I never actually knew him, Dave was always present in family stories. His creativity was honored by his siblings and his memory was cherished. He was gone from our lives but he was never forgotten. I would have liked to have gotten to know him at least a little but I find solace in knowing that he was loved.
