Obituary of Roosevelt C. Moore

Roosevelt C. Moore age 56 of Collingdale formerly of Sharon Hill and Philadelphia passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2016 at home. Born in Portsmouth, Va., Roosevelt was educated throughout the public school system graduating in 1977 from West Philadelphia High School, he went on the attend VT Bell and Howell Technical School in Columbus OH. Roosevelt worked as an engineer for over 27 years for Septa where he was a member of the (BLET) Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. He enjoyed traveling to Ocean City Maryland, sitting back and enjoying a good cigar while watching his favorite TV shows and playing his Xbox with his work family after a hard days work for some laughs and excitement and was known as "Vdeoman". He also enjoyed the former Bennigans Restaurant in Springfield where they named a drink after him called the "Rosie Punch" He was always on the lookout for the hottest and rarest hot sauces. He is predeceased by his mother Myrtle Moore, grandmother Fanny Lindler and his sister Teresa Moore. Survivors: Beloved husband of 25 years of Stephanie Moore, Loving father of Stephen Williams, Sheena L. Moore, Ryan (Jennifer) Moore, Roosevelt S. "Sean" Moore and Markita (Stephen Morsell) Gibbs, cherished grandfather of Ayla C. Moore, Jaiden Rodriguez, Laila Gibbs and Messiah Moore and future grandchild due in November.
