I am very sorry to see Denise pass still so young. Denise and I and her husband Jimmy were such good friends in high school, Denise and I went to same school, lived near each other and hung out on weekends. I have a lot of good memories of those days but we each got married and life took us other places.
I guess its been almost 40 years now. I never really got to know her family but I wanted to let you know how much I have thought of her over the years, how funny she was and a good friend, I miss all those times but I see she had a good life with her children and grandchildren.
With love from a friend who loved her

In loving memory of Denise Hitchens DeHart. Thank you for carrying me home when your sister Lisa slammed the back door on me. If I could have carried you home, I would have. Hope you arrived safely and are watching over your family.

A moment, a season, a mean time or a life time- the journey is filled with beginnings and endings, I read this and its so true... "Every new beginning comes from another beginnings end". Denise's journey began on earth in the loving arms of Rosemary Hitchens. While her death seems so final, she is really just continuing on her souls journey and has met with another new beginning. A divine beginning that started on angels wings and carried her to reunite with Mom, and with Steven, Danny, Jimmy, Doris, Pop and other family and friends we love and miss. When the winds of divinity blew through her heart, the melody was like no other.
May this sad day and unexpected loss be calmed by the many loving and treasured moments shared. As your heart begins to preserve and protect, I hope that endless memories of your Mom/Sister/Aunt/GrandMom/Cousin/Friend bring peace to all as you are healing and helps lift some of the sadness off of your heart.
Our Deepest Condolences to Neesie, Jim, Shannon, Lisa, Daly, David, Patrick, Michele and all of your Families & Dear Friends
