Obituary of Harvey F. Jones

Obit Harvey F. Jones, Sr. Harvey F. Jones, Sr. age 84, a lifetime resident of Essington passed away on January 2, 2016. Harvey was a decorated Army Veteran of the Korean War receiving a Bronze Star and a member of the VFW Post 598. He retired from Westinghouse. He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed camping and car racing. He is predeceased by his wife Virginia C. "Ginny" Jones and siblings Martin and Albert Jones. He is survived by Paul (Patti) Jones, Margaret (Marshall) Ralls, Harvey F. Jones Jr. and was a grandfather of 9 and a great grandfather of 7. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 7th at 11 AM at the McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden. Viewing will be Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lawncroft Cemetery.
