Obituary of Evelyn B. Jacobs

Evelyn B. Jacobs age 96 of Essington passed away on December 12, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of Essington, Evelyn was active in the community. She had been a member of the Women's Civic Association, and a founding member of Republicans for Better Government. Evelyn was a fan of the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. She is predeceased by her husband Melvin J. Jacobs,3 brothers and 9 sisters. Survivors: Loving mother of Edward M. (Marie), Arthur J., Dale W., Dean R. (Susan) and Drew S. (Bonnie), cherished grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 8 and 5 great great grandchildren including her namesake Evelyn.
