Obituary of Margaret Mary Lent

Margaret Mary Lent (nee Scanlan) "Margie" age 62 of Glenolden formerly of Sharon Hill passed away on December 7, 2015 Raised in Sharon Hill, Marge graduated from Holy Spirit Grade School and Archbishop Prendergast High School class of 1971. She worked for 21 years in the banking industry, where she was an operation manger for the Bank of New York Melon. She enjoyed her summer home in Pot Nets, Long Neck DE. where she enjoyed swimming, golf cart rides and summer concerts. She was a member of the American Legion Post #28 Millsboro DE. She was an active parishioner of St. George Church where she served as Eucharist Minister. She was a caring person who loved her family. She is predeceased by her father John J. Scanlan Sr. Survivors: Beloved daughter of Dorothy Fagan Scanlan, loving sister of Mary Frances (Joe) Kelly, Maureen C. (Bob) Blisard, John J. (Tammy) Scanlan Jr., Kevin (Bridie) Scanlan, Jerry (Theresa) Scanlan, Anne S. (Bob) Antonelli, Bill( Chrissy) Scanlan, Joe(Cathy) Scanlan and Rob (Kate) Scanlan, 26 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: Friday, 11am at St. George Church, Lamont Ave. Glenolden, PA. 19036 Visitation: 9-11am in the church Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
