Obituary of Katherine E Eckert

Katherine E. Eckert (nee Ellis) age 74 a longtime resident of Collingdale passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. Katherine was born in Philadelphia; she graduated Collingdale High School class of 1958 and attended nursing school in Philadelphia. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed taking her care of her family especially her son Robert. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at her shore home in Lavallette, NJ. She is predeceased by her husband Richard H. Eckert, son Robert J. Eckert and her brother William Ellis. Survivors: Devoted mother of Richard (Lisa), Paul(Christine), John, and William (Megan)Eckert, cherished grandmother of Scott, Justin, Jacob and Lauren and great grandmother of Alivia and Jaqueline, dear sister of Robert Ellis, sister in law of Rick Eckert, special niece Karen (Ron)Eckert Zulli, and dear friend of Jean Williams.
