William R. Bingaman, age 90 of Primos, passed away on Oct. 7, 2010 at Riddle Hospital. Born in West Milton, Pa, he was raised in New Columbia, PA. He has been a longtime resident of Delaware County since the 1940's. He worked at Sun Ship in Chester and the Philadelphia Navy Yard during WWII. Mr. Bingaman was co-owner of Bingaman Bros. Auto Service in Folcroft until the early 1950 and retired from A& P Tea Company in 1982. He was a member and camp cook of Tale's End Rod and Gun Club for over 50 years. Mr. Bingaman was a member and past master and trustee of Richard Lodge #230 F&AM, Philadelphia. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Folcroft for over 60 years. He enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, wood working, fishing and being with family and friends. He also organized Bus Tours for over 10 years and an avid Phillies. Before his wife of 63 years passed way he enjoyed traveling the United States, they visited every state except Alaska. He also enjoyed spending the winters in Marco Island, Florida for 25 years. Predeceased by his wife Leora " Orie" V. (nee Dershem ) Bingaman Surived by his daughter Mary Ann Coppola of Aldan , PA 2 brothers Isaiah Bingaman of New Columbia, PA and Warren Bingaman, of Ridley Park, PA and one granddaughter. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Monday, 11AM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA.19036. Viewing: 9-11AM at the funeral home.
