William J. Adams Jr. "Bill" age 68 a lifelong resident of Essington passed away on Sept. 23, 2015 surrounded by his family.
A graduate of Eddystone High School, Bill retired after 26 years as Assistant Chief of the Federal Fire Service.
He was a 50 year Life Member and Past Assistant Chief of Essington Fire Company and Currently the Tinicum Twp Fire Marshall
Survivors: Beloved Husband of Patricia M. Adams, loving father of Albert (Meagen) Adams and Kimberly (Michael) Widmer and Sean (Julia) Adams, cherished grandfather of Jared, Colin, Carson, Jorja, Melanie, Falynne, Haley And Riley, dear Brother of Maryanne Adams and Patricia Sweeney.
Funeral Mass: 10am on Thurs. at St. Margaret Mary Church 500 Wanamaker Ave. Essington, PA. 19029.
Viewing: 6-8pm Wed. at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 and 9-10am on Thurs in the church
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
