Obituary of Martha Wilson

Martha Wilson (nee Yerschke ) age 66 of Folcroft formerly of Glenolden, Radnor and Queens, NY. Passed away on October 4, 2010 at home. Born and raised in Ridgewood, NY where she attended Grover-Cleveland High School. She graduated with a degree in cosmetology and received her license. She worked in numerous beauty shops and retail stores. Martha was active in the Democratic Party where she was a committeewoman in Glenolden and Folcroft. She also was treasurer of Southeast DELCO Democratic Party and an inspector of elections in Radnor TWP. Her husband Clifford was chairman of Delaware County Democratic Party. Martha was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed raising her two children and her two grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, decorating and traveling, especially to Williamsburg and Hawaii. Predeceased by her parents Wilhelm and Helen Yerschke Survivors: Beloved wife of Clifford Wilson of Folcroft. Loving mother of Sharon Wilson and Erica Wilson and her husband Timothy Vanauken all of Folcroft. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth and Sarah Vanauken Loving sister of Dorothy Delia, Lois Hickey and Helen Olsen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Service on Sat. Oct 9 at 3PM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA 19036. Viewing 12-3PM at the funeral home.
