Obituary of John E. Singley

John E. Singley age 76 of Folsom formerly of the Meadow section of SW Philadelphia passed away on May 3, 2015. John was a graduate of John Bartram High School in January 1958; He was a corporal with the Collingdale Police Department retiring in 1997 after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Rising Sun Mason Lodge #15, New Jersey and a member of the FOP lodge #27. John enjoyed bowling for the FOP League, trips to the shore and his dog Abby. He is predeceased by his parents John and Laura Singley. Survivors: Beloved husband of 40 years of Gail Singley, loving father of John (Kathy)Singley, Frank Singley, Jennifer Singley-Flinn, Christopher (Kelly) Singley and Heather (Chuck) Schappell, cherished grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 6, dear brother of Laura(Robert) Modesto, son in law of Lois Smith and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral Service: 11am, Friday at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036. Viewing: Thurs. 7-9PM and Fri. 10-11am both are being held at the funeral home.
