Obituary of Samuel L. Martin

Samuel L. Martin "Sam" age 73 of Glenolden formerly of Philadelphia and New Jersey passed away on February 13, 2015 surrounded by his family. Sam was a graduate of West Catholic High School class of 1961. He retired from C&D Batteries and Wells Fargo Securities. He enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Arthur Murray Dance and Star Dust Ballroom Productions. He also enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and cruising on ships and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He is predeceased by his siblings Bobbi and Don. Survivors: Beloved husband of Charlotte Skevington, loving father of Sam Martin, Stephen (Claire) Martin, Carolyn (David) Cloud, Joanne (Jack) Stauffer and Matthew (Grace) Martin, Cherished grandfather of Frankie, Nicholas, Matthew, Kara, Justin, Russell, Allie, Ryan, Christopher and Tom, dear brother of Emma Jo Freitag. Visitation: 1-2PM, Wed. at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA. 19036 followed by Memorial Service at 2PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
