Obituary of Suzanne Kelly

Suzanne "Sue" Kelly, of Pottstown, Pa., passed away on February 6, 2015, at the age of 53. She died at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief, but courageous, battle with brain cancer. Even in her final year of life, Sue was a beacon of light and positivity for whomever she interacted. Sue most recently worked as a controller for Diament Building Corporation and Phoenixville Country Club. She was a very generous person who enjoyed helping others less fortunate. Prior to falling ill, Sue often drove cancer patients to their appointments and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. For several years, Sue and her loving husband were in the foster parenting program. Sue loved to travel, kayak, just be on the water. She was also a huge nature and animal lover. However, Sue's greatest love was for her family. She is predeceased by her parents, Carol Ann and John J. Kelly, Jr. Survivors: Beloved wife of Gary Scott, loving sister of Patrick (Nancy) Kelly, Linda (John) Kijewski, John J. (Kristan) Kelly III, dear aunt of Michael (Nadelle) Kijewski, Jessica Kelly, Cristina Kijewski, Jack and Luke Kelly, and great aunt of Holden and Emerson Kijewski. Memorial Service: 11am Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Thomas Moore Church, 2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottstown Pa. 19465. Visitation: 10-11 am at church. Burial will be private.
