Obituary of Joan Orr

Orr, Joan, 85, of Sharon Hill, passed away on December 26. Joan was born in Shamokin, Pa and after High School graduated from the Methodist Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing. She was the Director of Nursing for several different area nursing homes and later in her career also worked for Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging. Joan is survived by her sons Bill (Kathy) and Tom (Lana), her seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her sisters Jean (Bob) Varano and Cora Lea Williams, and was predeceased by her husband George. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 02, 2015 at 12 noon at the McCausland-Garrity-Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 South Chester Pike, Glenolden, Pa 19036 where friends may call from 11:00 until the time of the service.
