Obituary of Thomas P. Dougherty

Thomas P. Dougherty, age 63, of Norwood died Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Upper Darby, PA after a lengthy illness. Mr. Dougherty was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Raymond L. and the late Pauline E. (Sunds) Dougherty. Mr. Dougherty worked for over 40 years for the Bricklayers Local 12PA before retiring. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts Holmes Troop 355. Mr. Dougherty enjoyed gardening, listening to old country classic music and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Dougherty, Sons Raymond (Shannon) Dougherty and Douglas (Rachel) Dougherty, Daughters Margaret (James) Fitzgerald and Elaine (William) Kennedy. Cherished grandfather of CJ, Rebecca, Joey, Max, Owen and Jephson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 7-9PM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA. 19036.
