Obituary of Dolores M. Marshall

Dolores Marshall (nee Walton), 79 a longtime resident of Southwest Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Sept 13, 2014. Born July 16, 1935 in Pennsylvania, Dolores lived her life to the fullest any women can: as a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, grandmother and even a great grandmother. Dolores was a longtime resident of Southwest Philadelphia where she was a child care provider for over 35 years before moving to New Jersey in 1999. She cherished her family, her pets and her vacations to Ocean City, MD, which were always the hottest weeks of the year. She was a longtime fan of NASCAR Racing: her favorites being Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. She is predeceased by her parents Harold Walton and Dorothy Long, 3 brothers. Survivors: Devoted wife of 63 years of Carlos J. Marshall, Sr. Loving mother of Carlos, Jr. "Rick" (Elaine nee Peterson), Dolores "Sis" Marshall, Michele Marshall and Kenneth (Deborah nee Pro). Cherished grandmother of Jaime Bowman, Kenneth Marshall Jr. and Anthony Marshall and great grandmother of Elyse, Olivia and Grace Bowman. Dear sister of Howard Walton, Harold Walton, Judy and Carol. Memorial Service: 8pm, Thursday at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036. Visitation: 7-8pm on Thurs. at the funeral home.
