Obituary of Philip R. Werner

Philip Werner "Phil" age 72 of Secane passed away on August 25, 2014 at Crozer Keystone Hospice Residence at Taylor Hospital. Born in Darby, Phil was the son of the late Justin and Elizabeth Werner. Phil was a 1959 graduate of Collingdale High School and then went on to Penn State University where he received an associate degree in Electrical Engineering. After retirement as a sales representative for the food service industry he continued on doing part time jobs. He enjoyed Penn State football and was an avid railroad buff building his own model railroad and taking many trips to Horseshoe Curve in Altoona. In addition to his parents he is also predeceased by his brother in law Dr. John "Jack" Echternach and nephew Dr. John Echternach both from Roanoke, VA. Survivors: Loving husband of 49 years of Carolyn "Lyn" Werner, loving father of Bret D. (Liz) Werner. Cherished grandfather of Megan Marie Werner and granddog Ghee.
