Joseph J. Kelly, Sr. age 83 a lifelong resident of Sharon Hill passed on June 24, 2010at Taylor Hospital. Born and raised in Sharon Hill, he was a graduate of Sharon Hill High School. Mr. Kelly owned and operated Suburban Plumbing and Heating in Havertown and Sharon Hill. He retired in December 2009 from Sharon Hill Borough Council where he served many offices over the last 25 years including Past President. Mr. Kelly was formerly active with the Sharon Hill Athletic Assoc. and one of the founders of the Sharon Hill Summer League Basket Ball Program. He was a simple and pure hearted man, who enjoyed his shore house in Long Beach Island and spending time with his family especially his granddaughters and his daughter in law. He enjoyed sports, especially the Phillies, College Basket Ball and Navy Football. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn Kelly, Brothers William, Robert James, Edward and Bernard Kelly and sister Leah Raffaele Loving father of Joseph Kelly, Jr. of Folsom and Peggy Boyce of Sharon Hill Cherished grandfather "Pop" of 3. Loving brother of John Kelly of Sharon Hill Also survived by many nieces and nephews Funeral Mass on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 10AM at Holy Spirit Church, 1028 School St. Sharon Hill, PA, 19079.
