Obituary of Kathleen E. Williamson

Kathleen Elise Williamson passed away on July 4, 2014 peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer. Kathy worked at Child Guidance Resource Centers for 38 years. She was a committed and loved employee that will be missed by her coworkers. Kathy loved traveling, mostly on cruises to different parts of the world or to the Florida beaches, Sanibel in particular, and also enjoyed trips to Arkansas to visit her grandniece. Kathy is predeceased by her parents Robert Stearns and Elise Porter Williamson and her sister Ada Ellen Williamson. She is survived by one sister, Beth Gumienny of Media, PA, brother-in-law Ken Gumienny, two nieces, Rachel Cook of Washington, DC and Elizabeth Thankachan of Bentonville, Arkansas, and her husband Ben Thankachan, along with her grandniece Liliana Thankachan. She is also survived by her dearest friend, companion and travel mate, Donald Humphries and her two beloved dogs, Disney and Epi. Her family and friends were central in her life. She will be missed by many cousins, friends, extended family and coworkers. A memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life will be planned for September, the month of her birthday.
