Catherine F. Tinsley age 90 of Collingdale passed away on June 13, 2010 at Springfield Hospital. Born in Plymouth Pa, she was raised in Dallas, PA. A graduated Dallas Borough High School class of 1937, Mrs. Tinsley worked for Commonwealth Telephone Company as a telephone operator. She was a devoted homemaker; in earlier years she was active with the Home and School Association for Collingdale High School where her children attended. She enjoyed spending winters in their Florida home for over 20 years. She was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross and a past board member for Collingdale Swim Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Tinsley was a Sunday school teacher at the Mariners Bethel United Methodist Church of Collingdale and a current member of Clifton United Methodist Church Beloved wife of the late Howard C. Tinsley Loving mother of Judith Boutilier and Robert (Marjorie) Tinsley. Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Justin) Kenney, Stephanie Tinsley and Rob Tinsley and great grandmother of Kevin and Erin Keeney. Loving sister of the late Wilbur Davis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, June 17 at 10AM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036. Viewing 8:30-10AM at the funeral home. Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Clifton United Methodist Church, 101 S. Springfield, Rd. Clifton Heights, PA. 19018
