William J. Mullan Sr. "Bill" age 54 of Swarthmore, Ridley Twp. formerly of Sharon Hill, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2010 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Sharon Hill. He was a graduate of Sharon Hill High School Class of 1974 where he was All Delco football player for his senior year. Mr. Mullan was co-owner of Leo's Steak Shop in Folcroft and a longtime employee of US Airways. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially driving his 1964 Ford Galaxy Convertible in the Sharon Hill Fourth of July parades; he was a avid gardener and a big rock collector for his family and friends properties and gardens. He enjoyed sports and biking. He was a devoted family man, especially to his grandchildren, he taught them amazing strength and he was a generous person to everyone. His favorite saying is "life is good " Predeceased by his father Leo V. Mullan, Sr., Brothers Leo V. Mullan Jr. and Jack Mullan. Beloved Husband of Nancy (nee O'Donnell) Mullan of Swarthmore. Loving father of William J. "Billy" Mullan of Springfield, PA. and Shaun Theresa Mullan of Swarthmore, PA. Cherished Grandfather Andrew, Marissa, Dominic and Kylie. Devoted Son of Elizabeth Mullan of Sharon Hill, PA. Dear Brother of Steven Mullan of Glen Mills, PA, Marie Marcovitz of Norwood and Eleanor Pearse of Thorton, PA. Also survived by nieces and nephews Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wed. June 16, at 11:30AM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, 1000 Fairview Rd. Swarthmore, PA. 19081 Viewing: Tuesday, 6-9PM at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA. 19036 and 10-11:30on Wed. in the church.
