Neil J. Dougherty of Exton
Cornelius "Neil" J. Dougherty, 56, of Exton, formerly of Glenmoore, passed away on April 17, 2014. Born and raised in Colwyn, Neil was the son of the late Neil and Catherine Dougherty. He graduated West Catholic High School Class of 1975 and attended LaSalle University and Delaware County Community College. He retired in 2007 from UPS, where he worked for 32 years. He was a longtime and active member of Teamsters Local 384. He was also a friend of Bill W. Neil was predeceased by his brother Thomas Dougherty and is survived by his children, Jennifer DellaPenna (Marc) and Neil J. Dougherty Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren Joseph, Gabriel and Olivia DellaPenna, and Conor, Declan and Peyton Dougherty; his sister Colleen Dougherty and; his brothers James P. Dougherty (Nancy), Timothy M. Dougherty (Cindy), Shawn A. Dougherty (Gail) and Patrick C. Dougherty (Barbara); his aunt Monica Kulchinsky (Dennis); his uncles Michael Dougherty (Rosemarie) and Ted Novak and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. and interment at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
